Just a question from somebody not that familiar with ballistics, is there any chance that gunfire hitting the tanks was an unintended consequence of the long-distance firing towards the crowd, like ricochets that happened to hit these tanks? Or is that too big a bounce?

That’s a possibility but with the expertise that was used in setting up this op you would have thought they would have brought some high powered arms in if the tanks were really a target. Most likely they were an after thought.

I’m starting to think the primary targets were the things he couldn’t stand controlling his life.

Gambling, alcohol, Las Vegas, MGM casinos and their perks for high rollers, the party lifestyle, and definitely himself, too.

He had a history of strategic planning that was easily capable of forecasting the events since Sunday. Global attention, miles of first person video, everyone looking for motive.

Whether or not those were his true objectives, he damaged or destroyed every single one of them.
