Just breaking. A lot of repots on Twitter from people.
True Pundit reported this:
An active shooter reportedly on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay bar Hotel in Las Vegas has gunned down at least one police officer and others.
Wow. The guard is very brave. That is very scary and disturbing to think that the shooter could have continued his attack for almost an hour.

“Another thread is talking like it was 72 minutes from start to room break-in oh, well we are never going to get the straight story.
Earlier on this thread there was a link given to a Twitter account of his == @Thepads.
It was up when I checked it earlier today but had been wiped. It was a 2010 account 7 years old with 2 pics of him so it was probably used but wiped at some time.
Now it is fully taken down and doesnt exist.
They talk about him as no social footprint, but he had one and it was erased by he or others.”
Either the authorities wiped it, or.... the perps handlers did...
because it was up earlier today, and the perp was already dead (am I correct in that timeline?)
I’m still not convinced there was a single shooter. Pure speculation here but maybe the second shooter was the one taking out the security guard as he exited the room, leaving a dead Paddock behind?
The hotel needs to release the hall video.
I imagine that he had very little activity on it as there were very few links.
However, I bet law enforcement and Twitter took the page down so it would not be added to or hacked.
You’re welcome. You both deserve credit for rational thinking during the chaos.
The whole thing is strange. All those guns too, almost like to really drive and overkill the point on gun control. This guy should have been more obvious than Yosemite Sam.
Vegas law (or perhaps NV law?) outlaws windows from being openable in hotel rooms. I believe the law was enacted because too many tourists were leaving las vegas by jumping out of their hotel windows and dying on impact on the ground below. It was a problem that happened most especially with those who gambled away everything they owned.
The law doesn’t apply to windows on condo towers, presumably because the people in these rooms are local owner occupants, and thus more stable.
So the only way to open a window in a vegas hotel room nowadays is through excessive force. Which is what the shooter used to open his hotel windows.
That makes sense.
well it doesn’t make sense that he would stop shooting a target rich audience just to run down 2 flights to fire off some rounds in the hallway. Seems a real waste of time and effort. So, yeah, the 29th floor thing is weird. unless we factor in the ‘Hispanic couple’ that were harassing the ladies in front of the stage.
Muzzle flash, for those who asked, 2:16 in this video, right firing pisition, facing the hotel.
Link? No, it’s called common sense and knowing there’s decades of training and cooperation between Las Vegas Metro and the hotels, especially since 9/11.
Facial recognition now unlocks your iPhone and matches the pictures from your kid’s birthday party to your Facebook friends list. By all means, please continue to think we’re a bunch of luddites in this state scanning grainy black and white closed circuit television pictures from 1960s era cobwebbed cameras.
Your floorplan is...inadequate.
This ham looked well overdone, to me.
I’m so perplexed how law enforcement could clear the girlfriend so quickly just because she was out of country.
BTW isn’t that convenient?
idk seems to me they’d want to scour all video around the hotel and check all cell records and analyze whatever they find in the home both shared before they clear her.
And how is this woman that was cleared before law enforcement had even conducted a search on this man’s house they she shared.
They are clearing her so that she’ll come back.
A familiar pattern is emerging in these events, in which the public quickly tries to find scraps of information about the perps on the Internet to try to find out who they are and who they are connected to before the authorities can clamp down and wipe the social media pages and declare it a "lone wolf" or "workplace violence."
I wonder if the 29th floor info was someone calling into police who miscounted the number of floors on the hotel to the windows where they saw the shooting from.
Just fine....I guess.
The ‘professional gambling’ will turn out to be a cover for his real profession of ‘career criminal’- it’s also how he laundered the money.
He and his too-slick brother learned the family business from their bank robber/conman father. They learned how to stay invisible, how to hide money, and of course how to be criminals.
The dad had psychotic tendencies. The shooter inherited that spark, and threw gasoline on it.
