MSNBC political contributor Jason Johnson said on AM Joy Saturday that President Trumps reaction to Puerto Rico was the result of white nationalist policy.
WATCH:
This is what white nationalism looks like as policy. Weve been talking about this all along. When you have a policy, when you have a belief that only white people are true americans, Puerto Rico are Americans, Donald Trump doesnt care about that, therefore he is attacking people and distracting from the fact that our response there, to fellow American citizens, has not been adequate, Johnson said.
Johnson wasnt the only pundit to accuse the president of having racial motivations in his response to the disaster in Puerto Rico on the Saturday morning MSNBC show.

Are you serious? Please tell me you’re joking.
I thought he had a girlfriend.
Eight years I knew no racists. Today, everyone is a racist.
Thanks, Obama.
People say ...
He was publicly dating actress Olivia Munn until they broke up this year.
This guy really is a johnson.
That is a racist comment.
It makes a false assumption based on noting more than Trump's skin color.
In the US, if you have one drop of black blood, then you are black.
In Puerto Rico, if you have one drop of white blood, then you are white.
Make that White, Asian and some Hispanics. From what I have seen to date wouldn’t include blacks as Americans. Don’t they already qualify their status exclusively as African-Americans and do they act as Americans. Not from what I have seen so far.
Fox just interviewed a man from Arkansas who moved to PR ranting about how he became a 2nd class citizen the minute he moved there. I bet that man is a good little Democrat. Whiney, angry and implying America is racist. Wow! I don’t think I can stomach another idiot today. I am on overload.
As a white chick, it’s a badge of honor!
Has CNN no shame?
What a hilarious statement from this journOlist considering a majority of Puerto Ricans self identify as white.

I live in the area of Florida hit by a hurricane recently.
Except for FEMA offering tarps, no federal help whatsoever as far as I know of.
Plant debris is still in piles along my Sarasota County street (and in my yard - all the trash cans but one for garbage are filled and waiting for a WM pickup).
In cases of near total disaster, the federal government normally pays to keep impacted governments running, but ordinary people had better have [flood/windstorm/earthquake] insurance.
I used an ATM to load up with money before Irma hit just in case the storm took out the debit card network in the area.
Needn’t be. The best response to
being called a racist is, “So what?”
