EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell held a round-table meeting with roughly 25 owners, league executives and players on Tuesday night to discuss the national anthem demonstrations.
New York Giants linebacker Jonathan Casillas said the summit at the league’s headquarters in New York lasted roughly two hours and was attended by several of the NFL’s most prominent owners, including John Mara of the Giants, Robert Kraft of the Patriots and Art Rooney II of the Steelers. NFL executive vice president Troy Vincent also attended along with eight players from five teams.

The only thing that might save them is if they agree on a hard rule: Take a knee, take a shower.
Suspended without pay for the game. Losing a game’s pay is like a 10-15% pay cut for the year. For some of these clowns sitting out a game without pay could cost them a million dollars.
But then I don’t want to have to force these clowns to respect the flag. They don’t respect it. I don’t respect them.
Let them kneel. I won’t be watching.
I blame Roger Goodell for that a**hole who took a knee at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier while taps were played. If Goodell had not allowed his thugs to treat our flag with respect that never would have happened.
Locking arms is probably as bad if not worse then taking a knee. It just means they wanted to take a knee, but they were all forced to stand because the guy next to them was holding them up.
It is still a disrespect of the flag and what it stands for.

Nice find but the word “should” leaves them wiggle room to do nothing about the kneelers.
Change the word to “must” and the regulation would have teeth.

BFD. They have already screwed the pooch as far as I am concerned. Even if they start to stand and pay appropriate respect to the anthem and flag, they have already showed what they are and I will not support or watch them any more.

Indeed, they still want to find a way to stick it to their racist fans. That's the only thing that can keep this going is they are self-convinced the backlash from their protests are nothing but a bunch of racists (which is totally not true since the backlash comes from all shapes and colors of Americans if one were to check out the social medias).
The enemedia and the left will keep up with the lies, deceptions and agitation to continue to divide us as a nation. The #1 community organizer would be so proud of them.
