As a native of Arizona, this made me feel good. To their credit, the Cowboys did stand for the playing of the Star Spangled Banner but the fans are obviously sick of this already.

Exactly my point. Watch how long it takes before some “racist” does something in a stadium parking lot for the media to fixate on. A burning cross, a dangling noose, a row of waving confederate flags, a pick up full of bananas. You know it’s coming. You know it will be a leftist perp. But it will give the media the narrative to point out that “see America really is racist” and these overpaid babies just had to raise awareness because victim, victim, victim. We’ve seen the movie before.

Except that week 2 (last week) was up over week 1. So far, there’s an upward trend.

At this point, I wonder why law enforcement continues to work the NFL games?

I've been beating that drum since this all started last year. The cops in uniform and the off duty ones that pick up some side money working stadium security. If either or both of these groups just called out sick on a Sunday the game would be cancelled and it would be a HUGE and embarassing story for the NFL. It would end this stuff really fast and probably see Goodell walked out of the NFL office with the contents of his desk in a carboard box.

Actually, it's three (weeks) data points. Time will tell of course. As previously mentioned, "so far" MNF has gained viewership...even before the kneelers went crazy.
