The Dallas Cowboys plan to protest during the national anthem before Monday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals, per multiple sources.
Nothing has been firmed up and they will likely come to some decision in the locker room. It may not be a coordinated effort. It may just be a few individuals.
One player said, “We have to do something.”
Said another, “It’s not going to be business as usual. He crossed a line. Something will be done...”
The majority of the NFL’s owners and/or teams issued statements in response to Trump’s comments over the weekend.
The Cowboys and owner Jerry Jones have yet to do so...
Garrett, however, has made it clear that he likes how his team has stood for the anthem.
That stance may change Monday night.

Run some photos of coffins bearing those flags and show pictures of widows, mothers and children being handed those flags at the funerals of their loved ones, show photos of the flags in front of Arlington National Cemetery, then let the scum tell us it's all about the President!

Jones signed that thug Greg Hardy and is defending that other thug, Ezekiel Elliott.
Trump has also flushed them out for what they really are. If you disagree with Trump’s statement, do so. If you disagree with his policies, say so. If you don’t like the color of his tie, say so.
But DO NOT disrespect the flag, or those who have made real (not phony) sacrifices for our country. Apparently, the NFL players DO NOT CARE for our country. I’d like to think Americans will remember this.
But less than 10 years after we were attacked by Muslim extremists, we put one in the White House, so I’m not counting on it.
I really hope they stop the fighter jet overflights and military bands. The NFL doesn’t deserve support from the military.
As far as I’m concerned, the NFL might as well start burning flags and trying to fill their stadiums with metrosexuals, trans-genders and Hitlery supporters.
I don’t care if they sing the anthem from the top of their lungs with their hands over their hearts, I ain’t watching.
Someone will have to tell me, no more NFL.
