Would have Cruz won against Hillary? I doubt it.

It’s a legit point.

I think so, yes, but we will never know. All I know is that we are going nowhere with 6’9” GOP-E hacks such as Strange Luther.

Christine O’Donnell, I am not a witch comes to mind. Don’t know either candidate as I don’t live in Alabama, but we have to win/keep the seat! That’s all that matters to me up here in CT!

I was originally a Cruz support in '16, and am on the record here as believing that Cruz, Trump, or ANY of the field EXCEPT John Ellis Bush would have beaten Mrs. Clinton. She was a bad candidate.

Even before I supported Trump, I stated that he would would win, and it "wouldn't be particularly close". My only mistake was I thought NY/NJ would have been more competitive than they were. I also thought Cruz would have won, but in the more regular 2000/2004 scenario where it hangs on one or two states with no crazy red-blue switches.

Right now, I am glad that Trump, not Cruz won. He has brought a lot of stuff festering under the surface into plain view. We have some gangrene to cut away.
