Money quote: “If there is strong suspicion that Manafort has committed fraud crimes unrelated to the 2016 campaign, then fine, investigate him. But investigate him as you would any other white-collar fraudster who (a) has counsel willing to honor your lawful demands to produce evidence and (b) has, at least ostensibly, been cooperative. Paul Manafort is not Osama bin Laden, so there’s no reason for Bob Mueller to make like the commander of Seal Team Six.

Why is this worth pointing out? Because someday, maybe, we’ll get around to asking: What would have happened if Hillary Clinton’s very real email scandal — with its mountainous evidence of felony mishandling of classified information and destruction of government records — had been investigated with the no-holds-barred vigor Mueller and his band of Hillary donors are applying to the surmise of Trump collusion in Russian espionage?”

Which org’s agents/LEOs drew their weapons on the Manaforts, anyone know? Feebies, US Marshalls, Mueller private hires?

I’m confused. Was Manafort trying to collect on contracts with Russian or Ukrainian businesses? Two different groups as the two countries are enemies.

Regardless, the Obama administration needed cover to surveil Trump both as a candidate and as President-elect. The solution was to get authorization from FISA court to surveil the communications of people around President Trump. That way they could surveil President Trump and say they weren’t. The information collected was then passed to the Clinton campaign, and the press.

President Trump was left with the thought that Manafort and whoever else on his staff, being tapped by the Obama administration, were leakers.

Obama, Rice, Clapper, Comey, Lynch, the Clintons, Powers, and Brennen need to be investigated. One wonders why Mueller isn’t questioning any of these criminals. Instead he keeps adding Hillary donor lawyers to his taxpayer paid staff. Mueller and his staff need to be fiedred and prosecuted for fraud, waste, and abuse.

I’m not sure what’s more sad, that Mueller thinks he gains anything by employing jackboot techniques, or that there are so may willing participants in the FBI to carry out this midnight raid.

I’m reminded of the Claire Wolfe quote, except we’ve perhaps passed the point of it being too early. The State is the enemy of the People.

“America is at that awkward stage; it’s too late to work within the system, but too early to shoot the bastards.”

These bastards would not let Mrs. Manafort change out of her nightgown before frisking her, because everyone sleeps with a loaded gun in their nightgown doncha know.
Her husband had testified before one congressional committee the day before and was preparing to go to another the day this Soviet-style attack by the FBI took place. Does this sound to you like their rights as American citizens were respected? Keep in mind that if it happened to them, it can happen to you.

I don’t recall federal agents breaking into Cheryl Mills, or Robby Mook, or John Podesta’s home to investigate Crooked Hillarys violation of the espionage act. In fact, Hillarys goons were given immunity fer cryin’ out loud!

WHERE THE HELL IS JEFF SESSIONS??

It’s been reported that Manafort had been under surveillance since 2014, so why no indictments?

Should it be determined that the fake Russia dossier was used as a basis for continuing/renewing surveillance then there’s the strong likelhood that any evidence obtained from that surveillance will be inadmissable in court.

This use of force is prosecutorial misconduct. Find a judge to kick his butt and get him investigated for conflicts. Obviously he’s playing for the other team, probably having committed various use-of-evidence violations and document security felonies in the process.

We would not have a fraction of the political national security leaking we have today.

Government employees would actually be scared of what would happen to them for betraying their oath.
