Those of us who are old enough to remember when government was not in our every day lives .. when the media was not on 24 hours a day and in the 15 min broadcast they did not go political... when our kids could pray in school if they chose.. when respect was taught from the cradle to the grave.. when we went through WWII and even hollywood volunteered and served ... when the movies were fit to go see .. when we didn’t walk around with a phone tethered... when you could go out and not be afraid ... when we didn’t have to lock our doors .. when many times a deal could be made with a handshake .. when we got our first credit card and thought it was a good thing (not so)... when family was family.. I could go on.. but I say all the above to say..

It states: “The National Anthem must be played prior to every NFL game, and all players must be on the sideline for the National Anthem. “During the National Anthem, players on the field and bench area should stand at attention, face the flag, hold helmets in their left hand, and refrain from talking. The home team should ensure that the American flag is in good condition. It should be pointed out to players and coaches that we continue to be judged by the public in this area of respect for the flag and our country.
