Stonewall Jackson and Andrew Jackson aren’t the same person. The first name of General “Stonewall” Jackson was Thomas, IIRC.
I realize that and note that in my post. the statue in question is Andrew Jackson, in Jackson square. Jackson was part of the Battle of New Orleans in the war of 1812. I don’t think these “resistance” people have a clue
