Judge was the one who “tried Arpaio” all by herself. She was the reason he was convicted because she had her panties in a wad about “illegal’s rights.” The followup step should be to remove her from the bench, because all of this was about “her views” on illegal immigration which are counter to the laws of the country.

Most contempt of court cases are tried by a judge without a jury. Under Federal law, I believe any minor criminal charge does not require a jury ... and “minor” is defined as any charge where the maximum sentence is six months or less.
