Donald Trump Jr., his wife Vanessa Trump, and Kellyanne Conway are dropping Secret Service protection, Fox News has confirmed.
The move to get rid of round-the-clock protection came after Trump Jr. wished to have more privacy. Other family members of the president will remain under Secret Service protection.
Secret Service protection is mandated by law to protect the U.S. president’s immediate family members, unless told otherwise.

He is probably hiring his own security. Bet the current Secret Service is a leaky as a Hillary and the Trumps know this.
I am surprised about Conway, though.
A Presidential Advisor is not normally given protection, so when the threat level subsided, protection is no longer deemed necessary.
This is understandable but probably should not be broadcast.

It took 24 posts before someone realized what was really going on.
The suspicion of that would be the best reason for the move.
But with the numerous secret service screw-ups over the last few years is he really taking that big a risk? They are a part of the deep state and the deep states behavior since Trump’s election is questionable to say the least and traitorous in many respects.

This was all over CNN this afternoon. Almost like “They no longer have secret service protection at all. Defenseless. Totally defenseless. Anyone can now get to them. Please. Please attack them.”
It wasn't stupidity. It was a deliberate notification by a compliant fifth-column leftist media to Antifa domestic terrorists, Islamoterrorists, and crime organizations, both domestic and foreign, that two new targets were available.
Never a good idea to make a public announcement but I would guess it doesn’t matter because it’s probably a public record who the secret service is protecting.
He probably is, or had them before the SS detail was assigned.
If so, I’m find with that.
I don’t want someone to be able to abduct a family member and hold the president (figuratively) hostage over it.
We’re in a high stakes environment here.

Probably a wise move if they have their own private security. You never know if a Liberal Secret Service agent might set then up for harm.
And Kellyanne is dropping her security, too? I hope she’s opting for private security she can trust instead of Obama’s SS.
Based on the So So service lately I would go with Gavin DeBecker if money was no object.
That was my first thought for private security. Top notch, from what I’ve heard. De Becker’s book, The Gift of Fear: And Other Survival Signals That Protect Us from Violence, is excellent.
Between Don Jr. and KellyAnn they have 9 children so I’m sure they’re taking no chances.
