Why in the world did Trump pick him for ambassador to Russia after he said that he did a terrible job as ambassador to China? Why, for arguably one of the most important jobs, would you pick someone who is establishment? Why not pick someone who questions it, who wants better relations? I don't get it. Trump's staffing is baffling to me. Rohrabacher would have been perfect.

The US government publicly announced in October that it was "confident" Russia orchestrated the hacking of the Democratic National Committee in the lead-up to the election. Who is this "US government" that "publicly announced" in October?

Trump has branded the investigation the "single greatest witch hunt" in political history and consistently questioned the intelligence community's findings well into his presidency even though the intelligence community did not conclude that Russian efforts made a difference in the election result.

Huntsman needs to take his daughter Abby on a decade long mission to the Congo.
To: Pinkbell
Huntsman is just another Jeb Bush parroting the Uniparty nonsense.
Remember when somebody signed up at FR and was pimping Huntsman in FReepmail?
LOL - what a joke.

Russia tried to influence our election. So what. Foreigners have been trying to influence our elections for over 200 years. The US tries to influence elections in Russia and other countries all the time. I expect foreign countries to do what they believe is in their own best interests.

Okay, the DNC was hacked and it was revealed that Hillary was a lying piece of sh!t. And she broke federal laws. Why doesn’t Huntsman say that? (pssst, he’s establishment)

But no problem for your secretary of state sell Russians 20% of your uranium reserves for a $150 million dollar donation to the Clinton Foundation. That’s just wonderful...

Trump's staffing is baffling to me. It weighs the administration down and makes it vulnerable to its enemies. There is no way possible civilian Trump and his billion dollar corporation would put up with incompetence and insubordination. I am positive background checks were severely scrutinized. Why wasn't this the case with President Trump's government employees?Furthermore, not really firing any Kenyan Administration leftovers is disturbing. What possible service do they provide beside obstruction?

I think everyone says Russia interfered in the 2016 election.
The same experts also will acknowledge Russia interfered in the 2012 election. And 2008. And 2004. And they’ll interfere in the 2020.
Russians put their fingers in foreign elections.
A matter of history.

Influenced or hacked? No one has said anyone fixed the election votes.

Define “interfered”.
Until you define methods and the resulting impact to election results, you’re just peeing in your soup.
