CNN reported Monday evening that the U.S. government, under President Barack Obama, had wiretapped Donald Trump’s former campaign manager, Paul Manafort — both during after the 2016 presidential campaign.
The report vindicates earlier reporting by conservative talk radio host Mark Levin, and by Breitbart News, which the entire mainstream media attempted to dismiss at the time as a “conspiracy theory” to mock Trump and to protect Obama.
The media pounced after President Trump tweeted on March 4: “Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my “wires tapped” in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism!”
Leading the “conspiracy theory” charge was none other than CNN itself. Brian Stelter, host of Reliable Sources, wrote at the time that the wiretapping story was an “incendiary idea” floated by Levin, Breitbart News, and others before reaching Trump’s attention.
CNN’s Jeff Zeleny specifically reported that the Breitbart News story about the wiretapping had been widely read in the West Wing of the White House. “Was Breitbart the main source for Trump’s tweet?” Stelter wondered.
He had little interest in the underlying story, which had stitched together facts from mainstream media reports in the New York Times, the Washington Post, and other sources. Instead, Stelter and others at CNN poured scorn on the idea.

And so it has. Literally the entire mainstream media were wrong, and Mark Levin and Breitbart News — and Trump himself — were right.
And we were right because the facts were sitting in front of our noses, in bold print at the top of the front page of the New York Times.
But for the mainstream media, it was more important to protect Obama, to demonize Trump, and to smear conservative media outlets.
Call it a fake news conspiracy to cover up the truth.

Think about that. Given what you said as fact, and I don’t doubt it, add that to 24-7 free campaigning from the media.
And all the voter fraud that’s to be had it’s unbelievable the amount a Republican presidential has to overcome to actually achieve a win. And yet President Trump did it.
Amazing. Now imagine the results from the same two candidates running without a dishonest media, a corrupt administration digging for dirt, and all the likely fraud.

What is there to know? A violation of the Federal Wiretap Act has occurred. We know Susan Rice and Powell accessed these records. We know the DOJ and FBI were involved and Comey lied about it before congress. Start with arresting these three named persons.All the others will fall into place. All the people who lied to Congress(Brennan, Clapper, etc...) All the people involved in withholding the evidence in the FBI and DOJ. Get them all. Don’t give them a few years to think about it. These acts are Criminal. Obama spied on political opponets using the US resources and personnel.
One hopes there is a back game solidifying, one that will pull a large net and catch a great number of these swamp vermin.
But, for me, it’s getting more and more difficult to sense it.
SUNDANCE has a very informative article today on the time line involved in this whole Russian dossier-James Comey attempt to destroy candidate Donald Trump and any others standing in the way of candidate Clinton. The Trump campaign also became aware of their being wire tapped by the FBI on the authority of FISA. Jeb Bush and No Trumpers were involved early on. Fascinating how this whole operation was facilitated by govt agencies and never Trumpers to pollute and rig our justice system.
I’d be shocked if the Republican leadership does anything about this.

I was shocked to see CNN reporting the spying on the Trump campaign yesterday. After their feigned disbelief over Trump’s claims of spying,
IMO, it’s clear Sessions is not going to prosecute anyone that has worked for the swamp. In other words he is in effect protecting the criminals of the past administration which in my mind makes him just as bad. He has said the justice dept is not going to seek charges against Lois Lerner because they don’t have a strong enough case. That is absolutely absurd. Even judge Napolitano on Fox stated the evidence against Lerner is overwhelming. Jeff Sessions is outright protecting the obama criminals. He needs to resign or be investigated himself as to why he is not doing his sworn duty.

But Hillary’s umbrage over having the election stolen from her because of Trump’s collusion with Russia will still be banner news on CNN and the NYT.
