That is absurd! Things made of cotton, what few are left, are in museums.

With Emancipation, cotton farming ended, because there weren’t any more slaves to pick it. That’s why Nylon, Rayon, Dacron, and, ultimately, polyester had to be invented: people could no longer afford silk or linen, and wool itched too much in the summer.
