Could it be that President Trump knew exactly what he was doing when he went to Pelosi and Schumer with a desire to save the Dreamers? The dems don't negotiate for what they first say their goal is. They wait for the 'pubs to cave, and get everything they want and then some.

I’ve been saying for the last week here that people don’t seem to understand that even if the Dreamers were legalized without anything in return, it would still be a win. They are the poster children for the rest of the illegals, and for open borders in general, so the left doesn’t want them to be legalized and taken out of the equation.
