It's gone far beyond the national anthem thing. Now they are preaching to us about gay marriage, transgender bathrooms, immigration policy, and other issues. The NFL thinks it is God, and I disagree.

Seahawk punter Jon Ryan said he didn't want gay marriage opponents as Seahawk fans, so I'm obliging him. And I don't root for players who support cop killers, so - in my own way - I'm "taking a knee" and boycotting the Seahawks.

Fellow Seattle area person here. My moment was when Pete Carroll talked about how he admired Michael Bennett for his convictions. And, that he supported what he (Bennett) was doing. Not watching this year, probably won't be watching ever again. Once a habit is broken, it is hard to get back into it.
