Seahawk punter Jon Ryan said he didn't want gay marriage opponents as Seahawk fans, so I'm obliging him. And I don't root for players who support cop killers, so - in my own way - I'm "taking a knee" and boycotting the SeahawksFellow Seattle area person here. My moment was when Pete Carroll talked about how he admired Michael Bennett for his convictions. And, that he supported what he (Bennett) was doing. Not watching this year, probably won't be watching ever again. Once a habit is broken, it is hard to get back into it.

... Pete Carroll talked about how he admired Michael Bennett for his convictions. For what offense was he convicted?

I'm also avoiding the Mariners, going back to the day last year when they released backup catcher Steve Clevenger for criticizing BLM thuggery. This was the day after footage showed BLM supporters in Charlotte, kicking an elderly homeless man, stripping and beating a young white man, and knocking down a photographer and dragging him towards a fire before police intervened.
