NYT Reporter: Hillary Thought ‘It Was Our Job’ To Get Her Elected [VIDEO]
The Daily Caller ^ | 09/17/2017 | Justin Caruso

New York Times reporter Amy Chozick said on CNN’s “Reliable Sources” Sunday that Hillary Clinton’s new book talked like “it was our job to get Hillary Clinton elected.”

The segment discussed Clinton attacking the media for perceived bias in reporting on her email scandal.

WATCH:

CNN’s Brian Stelter asked Chozick if there has been enough “soul searching about the press’s responsibility” for the 2016 election.

Chozick responded, “I agree with Hillary Clinton that for an industry that thrives on investigation we’re bad at scrutinizing ourselves, and there could be more soul searching about our role in 2016. But the way she presented in the the book is a little like it was our job to get Hillary Clinton elected.”

“Our job was to inform voters about their choices and how those choices would impact their lives, whether it was about Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump or any other candidate,” she said.

Our job was to inform voters about their choices and how those choices would impact their lives,

In their "unbiased opinion", of course.

Of course, it was. They just need to feign neutrality for the 20% or so of the population who is so dense to believe they actually are . . .

It's so much fun to rehash the election though.

On November 8, I'm planning on recreating last year's election. I'm going to synchronize this YouTube video of Election Night to the current time and have the champagne on ice.

After the election, one of the NYTimes editors even apologized to the staff, saying “Well, we tried.”

“it was our job to get Hillary Clinton elected.”

It was their job -- they simply failed. That's why it's called the failing nyt.

for an industry that thrives on investigation . . .

. . . it would be ironic that we do nothing to investigate Democratic Party crime . . . except that we have no sense of irony!

Well, it’s a subtle difference. Their job was to TRY to get her elected, and they tried as hard as they could. The NYT is right on this one; their best is all they had to give.

I watched this. What really comes across is that Raddatz believes that she knows enough about world affairs and military policy to be able to judge what Trump knows. Why would she or any other ‘journalist’ be so arrogant as to think that they are legitimate arbiters of foreign policy, military policy, or anything other than the workings of a newspaper or news program? I wouldn't let her or Stephanopoulos run a Tupperware party.

“On November 8, I’m planning on recreating last year’s election.”

That is a really interesting idea.

If the 63M deplorable bitter clingers wanted to be in your face to the Opposition Party (msm, dnc, elites, etc.), there would be Nov. 8 election ceremonies this year!

That's some creepy **** coming from the CNN drone. Nice that someone at the Slimes is writing now to make it appear that she didn't get the memo (probably the only copy was on Hillary's server, thus erased) and that the Slimes wasn't working round the clock to get Hitlery elected. Thanks ForYourChildren.

My idea for that came about because I did not actually buy champagne last November 8th. I had bought champagne for the 2008 and 2012 elections and never opened them (I gave them away in disgust). So I didn't want to jinx this election.

I remember not being very productive at work at all that day. Though I had a sense Trump would win, nobody else was saying that at my workplace and I had to get out of there for a while. So I spent most of that early afternoon wandering the streets of NYC. I walked from Trump Tower (where they had cement trucks already ringing the building) down to the Sheraton where Trump's victory party would be and then on down to 34th Street and the Javitts Center area where all kinds of freaks were already gathering for what they thought would surely be their victory party.

So I did not really enjoy the day. I had a funny feeling in the pit of my stomach and did not have much of an appetite. I remember riding home on the Metro North and downing two oil can Fosters on the way to relax a little. I got home to dinner and the wife demanded that we have dinner with no media turned on because she didn't want dinner ruined by bad news. Around 7:30 or 8, I went into my private study and turned on FoxNews and Free Republic. I was not initially encouraged. But around 8:30, things started to turn. By 9:30, I was convinced of a Trump victory based on the data I was seeing (thank you NY Times!) and I finally started to loosen up.

The next six hours was pretty incredible. I went through 3 pounds of peanuts and about 10 beers! I don't know how I made it back to work in the morning but I did. If I could do it over again, I would have been in the crowd outside FoxNews HQ on 6th Avenue. That would have been something to remember.

Amy Chozick doesn’t ‘get’ it.

Everyone sees the New York Times as brown nosing butt kissers of any - and all - democrats in the country. Democrats know it. We know it... What color is the sky in Amy Chozick’s world?

Guess the only totally clueless ones in the country are the people who write for the New York Times. Says something about the State of Journalism in the country...says something really funny.

Funny how we are now hearing piece-meal admissions of what we all knew all along... that Hillary was the heir apparent, and had a complicit media fellating her and keeping wind in her sails for pretty much three decades.
