A Christian numerologist claims that the world will end next Saturday when a planet will, supposedly, collide with Earth.
According to Christian numerologist David Meade, verses in Luke 21:25 to 26 are the sign that recent events, such as the recent solar eclipse and Hurricane Harvey, are signs of the apocalypse.
The verses read:
25: There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken.'
"'26: Mens hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.'
Sept. 23 is a date that was pinpointed using codes from the Bible, as well as a "date marker" in the pyramids of Giza in Egypt.
Meade's views are not endorsed by Roman Catholic, Protestant or eastern Orthodox branches of Christianity.

On September 23, 2017 there are four planets in the vicinity that complete the sign and its ultimate uniqueness. Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Jupiter play their parts. Above the head of Virgo is the constellation Leo. In Leo at this time there will be Mars, Venus, and Mercury. With Leo being a constellation of nine principle stars, the three wandering stars make it twelve at this time. Thus the garland of twelve stars is upon the woman. For three planets to be in Leo at this time with all of the other preconditions makes this rare. Combined with the final piece of the picture below is what makes this sign difficult of not nearly impossible to replicate anywhere close to the time in which we live. How rare? A search 150 years before and 150 years after September 23, 2017 produced no results.
I wonder if somebody got their kicks from messing with the “Bible-thumpers” by naming the two hurricanes following Irma the Spanish equivalent of Joseph and Mary, to coincide with near-hysteria in certain quarters over September 23?
For many, the world endied on Nov. 2 2016
I hate it when that happens!
Lol! Certainly Hillarys did!
It is kinda the apocalypse for me, I’ll be turning 62 on that day.
Only Al Gore and is ‘Climate Scientist’ know when the world will end.... Everybody knows that.

Instead of setting dates, we ought to be ready for His return at any moment. Are you ready?
What sort of prophetic event is this sign supposed to usher in? Clearly, most people promoting this have in mind the Lords return. Some explicitly state this, but others, mindful of the words of Jesus in Matthew 24:36, are hesitant to make that claim, though their implication is clear enough. These sorts of claims or intimations have been made many times before. For instance, the four lunar eclipses during 20142015 caused many people to anticipate the Lords return then, but of course this did not happen. I suspect that the same will be true on September 23 this year. People who get excited about supposed signs miss the point that Jesus made (Matthew 24:3651). Instead of setting dates, we ought to be ready for His return at any moment. Are you ready?

Time to dust off the old classic: “When Prophecy Fails”.

Those ancient Mayans sure look like fools now. They said the world would end in December 2012. They were off by almost 5 years!

ROFL!!! That makes 10,300 days the world was supposed to end according to prophecy.
Never mind that guy who said “I will come like a thief in the night”
Us humans know better :)
Better get my roll of quarters.
It’ll be a great reunion.
When it happens.
I’m hoping so, FWIW.
Because any real believers would know that man cannot set the date.
If it were that clearly spelled out in Scripture, then it wouldn’t even be an issue.
It’s not.
So you can’t accuse people of a lack of faith (in God) for not believing what man has said to them.
Jesus said that no one knows the DAY or HOUR, not that no one knows the times or seasons, which He DID tell us about and to watch for,
