Bastardi seems to think Maria will hit the east coast.
Just got power back this afternoon. Not mentally ready to handle another one. Drained.
Looking forward to following with you at the Helm. Pray you and Family going forward after Irma destruction to that area down there.
I can feel it this time! Gonna hit the Carolinas and possibly D.C.!
I hear you, and agree 100%. Mentally and physically exhausted from Irmageddon.
My sister, too. She’s been out for days in Miami.
Looks like Maria will hit the islands by Sunday - that’ll kill the NFL TV ratings again this week ... (/sarcsam)
Today as I traveled NB on I-285 near Atlanta I saw convoys of power crews heading south. They probably finished their work in GA and now headed to Florida.
One million people in GA lost their power. Some just getting power back this weekend.
What were the first things you did when you got your power back on?
Hope it plows right into the DC area and sits there for a few days. Churn that cesspool up so bad that it flushes the place.
A lot of us live here who aren’t part of the ‘swamp’.
In my local area, we still have around 100,000 without electricity. Temp climbed to 97ºF today.
“You serious Clark?”
I’ve been keeping this page open since before Irma hit...
I know the feeling. I just got back home and I have more damage than I anticipated. It’s been exhausting and there is so much work to do. But I know for sure it could have been much worse.
Very cool graphic.
Thank you for your kind thoughts and words. Mostly cleaned up here, still working to get pool back in shape. The water is deep emerald green from no pump for days, and lots of vegetation debris. Otherwise, we are just about back to baseline with sparkling clean (and mostly empty) refrigerator and freezer. Had to toss everything we couldn’t cook up on a grill.
