Most large cities is Asia have remnants of walls, particularly different gates, still maintained and revered since they were essential to the survival of that city and country. The largest, of course, is the Great Wall of China, visible from space.

An unmanned wall is worthless.
A wall is a force multiplier. We need that wall, we want that wall.

“Fine, Leave a big gap in the fence right on their property.”
OR, tell them, we’ll just build the wall to put you and your precious land on the Mexican side!
To: 2ndDivisionVet
Tell them to relax -- we will put Elizabeth Warren's picture all along their sections of the wall. (We'll put it on the Mexican side of the wall, where it will serve two purposes. First, it will serve to make that section of the wall an Indian section of the wall, thus honoring their sacred land, and second, by being on the Mexican side of the wall, those pictures will frighten away anybody down there who is contemplating sneaking across our border into America, and approaches the wall.)
(Wouldn't you be frightened if you saw this visage up and down the wall you were approaching, and turn away in fear?)

"All of our land could be considered as native american land.
My house is built on native american land.
The street out front is built on native american land.
My ancestors are buried on native american land." And the most important of all: YOU are a Native American!

President Trumps border wall could carve path through Native American lands Wouldn't that be true of everything built since all the land is supposed to be Indian Land?

Walls are made to keep animals in or out, walls cannot contain people, Manuel said. People are too intelligent. They can always find a way to get over the wall, under the wall or through the wall. If the wall is not a barrier to people, why is Manuel complaining?

Well I have a plan for that not that anybody will listen. We have several military bases all withing a couple of hundred miles from the border and all are training constantly. I can think of no better place for our troops to train than on the Texas Mexico border. Ground and aerial surveillance working in conjunction with the Border patrol.

Tell the Chinese their wall never worked. A wall that is monitored works wonderfully.
...besides, this reminds me of Palestinians - they really don’t care about some land until somebody does something with it they want to object to for political reasons.

If they don’t like it we will have to make the wall on our side around them. When they want to enter into the country they will need to go through a check point. We won’t be able to be responsible for their safety. It will be a chose that they have to make.
