Rio de Janeiro (AFP) - Lady Gaga said Thursday she had been hospitalized in "severe pain" and was pulling out of Brazil's Rock in Rio festival, which she was due to headline this weekend.
The superstar, who revealed Tuesday that she suffers from the chronic disease fibromyalgia, had been due to open the festival on Friday in Rio de Janeiro.
Or she drank the water or went swimming in the Olympic pool.
She hated her husband or he hated her and was poisoning her? Or toxic chemicals in her NC home vs. fresh air in LA?
Be sure you get the ferritin test and the transferrin saturation test. If either is elevated get treatment immediately. If your doctor is ignorant of hemochromatosis get a new doctor. Much suffering could be avoided with these simple and inexpensive tests which are not part of the standard blood tests your doctor orders at an annual check-up but they should be.
The treatment is simple and free. Donate blood (to get your stored iron down) That's it. (big pharma doesn't want you to know this) All men should get these tests routinely and all women after menopause.
***This was a public service announcement***
She hated being away from LA so she slept all the time. Luckily for her, he eventually went to prison so she left him.
I have fibromyalgia, and hear that it isn't a real disease all the time.
I'm also a career military man with three deployments to Iraq and one to Afghanistan.
This shit will take away almost everything you have. Your friends will bail on you because you can't do anything with them anymore. Your family will shun you because you're "broken". You can write off any hobbies you once had. Oh, and I hope you don't feel like tossing a ball around with your kids, or taking them fishing.
And the best part? After dealing with this shit 24/7, you get to deal with people telling you that it's all in your head, or that you're an attention-seeking hypochondriac. Or that you're some kind of lazy ass who wants an excuse to not work.
I go to work every day, and will continue to work after my military retirement. Fibromyalgia didn't make my bills go away.
People die from Lyme disease.
I know, they are just pretending to be dead.
Genius.
“chronic Lyme disease”
I have two dogs which had/have this. Lyme is caused by bacteria and can be tested for. However if the treatment is late or the victim has immune issues it’s consequences can be severe including death. Can’t fake that.
...chronic Lyme disease ... Things that don’t exist.
What are you talking about. My dog got Lyme from a tick bite. Nearly paralyzed her back legs. You think she was faking a disability?!
I think I have the same two FB friends. Perhaps everyone does.
However, unsavory they may be, they don't represent everyone with fibromyalgia.
I don't want anyone to know that I have this crap, and I certainly wouldn't flaunt it around on Facebook.
“
My ex has fibromyalgia, FRiend. It is as real as the clothes on your back. Same with Lyme disease, I have a friend that cant even DRIVE anymore because it has ruined her co-ordination and strength.
Blanket statements like yours only show ignorance and blindness to the suffering of others.”

Mavis Kelly was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis a few years ago, but after seeking out a "Lyme literate" doctor, she says she actually has chronic Lyme disease, which the doctor says is an indefinite bacterial infection that hides in the body and must be controlled with antibiotics and other therapies.
Gideon Baugher says he also has chronic Lyme, and he spent more than $35,000 on treatments last year alone.
But according to the majority of doctors and medical groups, there's no proof chronic Lyme disease is real, and they charge that the so-called "Lyme literate" doctors who diagnose and treat it with years of antibiotics and other unproven therapies are quacks, and that they're taking patients and their wallets for a ride.
"Many people who like to use the term 'chronic Lyme' feel that there's a hidden persistent infection that is long-term," said Dr. Paul Auwaerter, the clinical director of the division of infectious diseases at Johns Hopkins. "There's really a scarcity of data to back up that part of the proposition."
What's more, Auwaerter said he regularly sees patients who've spent $10,000 to $20,000 on antibiotics and herbal supplements prescribed by Lyme literate doctors who charge "concierge-style" prices. He often finds that they never had Lyme and had an entirely different health problem that wasn't being treated.... https://news.vice.com/article/if-you-think-you-have-chronic-lyme-disease-most-doctors-say-youre-wrong-1
A disease developed by doctors as a diagnosis for Hypochondriacs. They often prescribe Lyrica - which is actually a placebo.
If you believe you suffer from this disease, look in your medicine cabinet. If you have anything other than Asprin you may want to consult your doctor.
"I hurt everywhere and I'm really sad for no reason. My fibromyalgia must be acting up.
Urban Dictionary is your source?
What is the most common misconception about fibromyalgia?
The top misconception is that people think fibromyalgia isn’t a real medical problem or that it is “all in your head.” There’s a lot that’s unknown about fibromyalgia, but researchers have learned more about it in just the past few years.
In people who have fibromyalgia, the brain and spinal cord process pain signals differently. As a result, they react more strongly to touch and pressure, with a heightened sensitivity to pain. It is a real physiological and neurochemical problem.
