A disease developed by doctors as a diagnosis for Hypochondriacs. They often prescribe Lyrica - which is actually a placebo.

If you believe you suffer from this disease, look in your medicine cabinet. If you have anything other than Asprin you may want to consult your doctor.

Looks like you've got a whole thread full of Freepers letting you know how ignorant you are about chronic diseases. You should take that to heart.

You know, there are people out there who scam on everything. There are people out there who pretend to have cancer in order to get attention or donations, for example. It doesn't mean cancer isn't real. There are also genuine hypochondriacs who hear of a disease and immediately think they must have it. It doesn't change the nature of the actual diseases at all. For those who have suffered with Lyme Disease or Fibromyalgia or others, the situation is quite real, and having some individuals who are completely ignorant of these things spout off nonsense about "these diseases aren't real because I've never had one" is just another peanut in the pile of crap that they have to wade through.
