The Senate Judiciary Committee advanced four of President Trumps judicial nominees Thursday, including one appeals court pick who won unanimous approval from the panel.
The committee voted 20-0 for District Court Judge Ralph Ericsson for the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. Senators also approved two of Mr. Trumps district court judges, Donald Coggins Jr. for the District of South Carolina and Dabney Friedrich for the District of Columbia, by voice votes.
But the committee was more divided on Stephen Schwartz, Mr. Trumps nominee for the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, clearing him on an 11-9 party-line vote. Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California, the ranking Democrat on the committee, said he has only nine years of legal experience.
For federal district court and circuit judges, the American Bar Association has stated a nominee to the federal bench ordinarily should have at least 12 years experience in the practice of law, Ms. Feinstein said.

Winning
20-0 not good.
Wow! Starting to break McConnell’s logjam. Yeah Mr. Trump, I’m moving them along as fast as I can as he huffs and puffs while doing some of the world’s fanciest logrolling. And Mitchie-boy has built a Huuuge great big beautiful logjam.
No, it isn't.
Anyone who says this is "winning" is a fool.
Yea, but Trump isn’t getting anything done according to the whiner’s and complainers on FR.
Gee, maybe the guy was really qualified!
Judge Ralph Erickson of the District Court for the District of North Dakota....
The decision is a major roadblock for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)....
Anyone who says it isn’t is a fool!
Consensus including leftists is worrisome.
Trump has lit a fire under McConnell it seems. Oh yeah, the nattering nabobs of negativism from the peanut gallery can chime in now.
“20-0 not good”
I agree. It’s worrisome when the Dims are in total agreement.
That is what probably happened.
On the flip side - if the nominee is going to be passed anyway, what would the holdouts gain by voting "Nay"? This way they look less obstructionist.
LOL! Once it became obvious the nominee was going to pass, what would they gain by voting “Nay”????
