Hillary Clinton told CNN on Wednesday that it is time to abolish the Electoral College, part of a sweeping interview where the former Democratic nominee sought to explain why she lost the 2016 election.
Clinton, in the interview with CNN's Anderson Cooper, displayed her animus for fired FBI Director James Comey, reflected on her love for the people -- namely former President Bill Clinton -- who helped her get through the crushing loss and blasted the arcane election body that she believes helped Donald Trump win the presidency.

You have a better chance of winning when you play by the actual rules, rather than playing by what the rules should be and then bitching about losing.
Don’t mess with the Electoral College. Revoke that, and a bunch of states will check out. No tyranny of the majority. Yes, we know how that went last time.

I also didn’t point out that you don’t search and constantly post duplicate threads.
Bill Clinton was elected twice - she had no problem with the EC then? Funny how that works.
The EC works exactly as designed. Candidates have to be a little more representative of the country as a whole. One or two large population centers don’t determine the outcome of every national election. Without the EC, the constitution would not even have been ratified in the first place.
Either she is a liar, or dumb as a post. Maybe I shouldn’t disparage posts like that. I’m just sick of these grifters talking about “our democracy” when even the WORD democracy is never mentioned once in either the constitution or the declaration of independence. There’s a reason for this. The founders knew history, because they studied it, and wanted to know the reasons that some cultures and some systems of government going back thousands of years - were successful, and some were failures.
They determined that kings and queens, despotic tyrants, dictators, and yes, democracy - aka “mobocracy” was a bad idea, leading to discontent and riots and negation of private property. It’s ironic that the Soviet Union collapsed, but there are enough marxists or communists here in this country to keep the flame alive.
Don’t be fooled. They don’t care about “the people”, they just care about the raw acquisition of power. If they did care about people, then they would be responsive to “We, The People.”
Except, we’re “irredeemable” and “deplorable”, and “white supremacists” and “racist” and “misogynist” and on and on an on etc etc ad infinitum ad nauseam. What a vile creature she turned out to be, just absolutely unbelievable.
She lost and now she wants to change the rules. What a boitch.
She should be patient. DACA will give the Dems 3-5 million new voters. That will tip enough states blue, so GOP won’t win the presidency ever again. Ironically, a president Hillary might have had a hard time getting DACA thru Congress. Trump is accomplishing it, as a “Republican”
Just a few weeks ago here, some folks were convinced he was going to usher in participation with the European global warming initiative.

IMO < he will get a massive number of votes.
We’ll see how it plays out, but my take on it is that a lot of people are pretty disgusted with the Left these days.
I may not agree with everything Trump will have done, bit I’ll be hard pressed to think others would have done better.
Can’t say that for sure at this point. Many things we will have to wait and see on.
