But Professor Barrett is already on record, and widely quoted, that a judge should recuse himself or herself when deliberating a case that conflicts with his or her religious convictions.

...

Recusal is a lot different than letting dogma affect a decision.

I object to the term “secular humanism”. It is actually synonymous with “dialectical materialism” but conceals the Marxist roots of the belief structure.

yes, but this is not so much Dianne’s “war on Christian judges’... as it is “The Democratic Party machine’s war
on anything remotely moral, ethical, Christian, Jewish, or Catholic”

1) finkstein, of course, is NOT a Catholic - you cannot directly support laws which oppose fundamental Church doctrine and remain Catholic.

2) “Professor Barrett has argued that a judge’s faith should affect how they approach certain cases....” I would rather have a judge approach a case with moral judgement than than as a “wise Latina” any day.

Note to Feinstein:

Five of the nine Supreme Court justices are Catholic (used to be six). Three are Jewish.

I wonder if a judge whose religion IS abortion must also recuse him or herself from the deliberation ? N. Pelosi has referred to abortion as a sacrament. You can BET most if not all Obama and Clinton appointed judged belong to that same denomination.
