They should have built the stadium with a retractable roof. No one wants to bake in the hot California sun.
I think this is unwarranted, and due entirely to a couple of unseasonably hot games right at the opening of Levis a couple of years ago. The idea of having a closed football stadium in California is absurd - the Rams, Chargers, Raiders and even the 49ers in Candlestick all handled the sun just fine without wilting. It says a great deal more about the clientele at the new Levis compared to old Candlestick - the current season ticket holders (I'm one of them) pay a lot more and apparently expect not to have to deal with things like sunlight. The old season ticket holders at Candlestick (I was one of them) just showed up to watch games, not to look at their phones and network with future employers.
