Miamis mayor on Hurricane Irma: If this isnt climate change, I dont know what is

Miamis Republican mayor called on President Donald Trump and the head of the Environmental Protection Agency Friday to acknowledge that climate change is playing a role in the extreme weather that has slammed his city and the continental U.S. this summer.
Speaking from Miamis Emergency Operations Center in downtown, where the citys senior public safety and political authorities will ride out Category 4 Hurricane Irma this weekend, Mayor Tomás Regalado told the Miami Herald that he believes warming and rising seas are threatening South Floridas immediate and long-term future.
This is the time to talk about climate change. This is the time that the president and the EPA and whoever makes decisions needs to talk about climate change, said Regalado, who flew back to Miami from Argentina Friday morning to be in the city during the storm. If this isnt climate change, I dont know what is. This is a truly, truly poster child for what is to come.

“If this isn’t an example of the need for term limits...I don’t know what is”.
He’s right. He doesn’t know. Much of anything apparently.
I think the mayor is correct in terms of the second part of his statement.
This is a weather change, from clement to inclement. It will son be clement again.
It’s all that wicked CO2 bringing us nemesis.
No. It’s a hurricane that actually struck land. Irma didn’t smell the CO2 and say hey, I’m going to barrel down on it. Irma is sun and water vapor powered, same as other hurricanes.
On earth, it isn’t even possible to get enough CO2 in the air to swamp out the effect of the water vapor. All our puny little fires combined can’t do it.
Well the climate did just change in Miami. Yesterday it was to be utterly destroyed by a hurricane, now it looks like some wind and rain.
It could be climate change.
It is NOT MAN made climate change.
Last Ice age was NOT man made climate change.
The Global warming which followed and melted 4 mile thick ice glaciers on top of Chicagoland was NOT man made either.
Conclusion: Climate change began 5,000,000,000 years ago.
Man could become extinct in a few million years. Climate change will go on for 5 Billion years after man becomes extinct.
Praise the Lord for small favors, I guess. Irma might actually underwhelm.
I’ve been hearing people at work say that same stupid thing.
Apparently he doesn't know what is.
Let the earth be the earth, and let God run the show. It’s all good, it’s all God. Any man trying to control the climate (or even the weather) is trying to act as a god....and that never works out.
Praise the Lord for BIG favors.
I guess He saw the chastisement would be lost on some fools, so He didn’t want to put the rest of us through the burden yet.
2017: "Climate change! Man-made"
Time for the mayor to contribute. Turn off all electricity in Miami. Mandate that all transportation in his city is by bicycle. Ban all motors, electric, diesel, gasoline. Mandate that only sailboats can be used on his coast. Shut down Miami airport. Last but not least, put a cork in his azz.
Tell that to all those Spanish galleons (& others) at the bottom of the ocean in that area...you know, the one's with all those SUV's in their cargo holds!
They sank because the weather was static and the sea's were like plates of glass back then.
List of hurricanes from the past are available if the Mayor wants to look for them.

Same for Texas.

....and, very often affect Florida?
The headline should be Miami Mayor Admits He Doesn’t Know.
The mayor was elected. Those who elected this idiot must be idiots.
