(snip)
But the September 8 letter from the Attorney General Jeff Sessions Justice Department said it would not even reopen the investigation because officials require proof beyond a reasonable doubt that a government employee intentionally discriminated against an applicant for a tax-exempt status based on viewpoint.

For his own safety as well as We the People, Sessions needs to be “Baker Act”-ed. He lives in an alternate reality, is dumber than dirt, and presents a real and present danger to himself and the Republic.
LOCK HIM UP.

I say this is all Trumps fault and the faults are starting to pile up for me. Government is getting so corrupt it is about time to start citizen arrests and interrogations. Not Gitmo soft interrogations, saving freedom interrogations. They have had a chance to do the right thing, but they have clearly sided with evil.

Unless, of course, the applicant was a Democrat. Do Republicans get their own version of Lois Lerner, ready to deny the SPLC it's tax exempt status, or do Republicans only go to Washington to bend over and take it?
To: be-baw
Did Sessions come to this decision because Lois Lerner was offered immunity in the past?
recall:
"Take the IRS case. The House Oversight Committee, led at the time by Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), blew it, allowing the IRS Lois Lerner to deliver a statement proclaiming innocence and then claiming Fifth Amendment protection from having to answer any questions. Committee member Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) nearly flew out of his seat to point out that she had just forfeited her immunity."

So what is to even slow down the IRS the next time they do this? (And they WILL do it again now)

OK. Corruption is the order of the day and we are now a Third World nation. So how can we conservatives get in on the game and start profiting as much as these insiders do? :)

It’s disgusting to see you Cruzers dumping all over Trump on this. When Trump selected Sessions as AG, did you predict he’d be an abject failure? Jeff fooled a lot of people. That’s on him and him alone.
No doubt you’d love to see Trump’s presidency bogged down in the spectacle of both parties opposing any possible Sessions replacement. Just when Russia is running out of steam, the DC swamp and the MSM could coordinate a brutal Trump-bashing fest over his Sessions’ firing and his inability to get a replacement confirmed. It would destroy Trump’s term—no doubt to your delight. You’d finally get to say, ‘See! Cruz would have been better.’

If this is indeed confirmed, it will be a very sad day for Trump’s base, as it will confirm there are two justice systems: a protectionist one for the elites, and quite another one for The Forgotten Man. It will prove that Trump sided with the elites after all.
I hope it’s not true because if it is, I would say we’ve been played.
