Freeper "Wonder Warthog" (below) made some seemingly plausible arguments in favor of at least some possible link...
"Dont be too sure about that.....there are electromagnetic effects that we know little about.
There are massive electric currents circulating in the deep earth (which is why earth has a magnetic field).
When the EMF of the flare interacts with the earths magnetic field, there HAS to be some effect on those circulating internal electric currents.
Simple physics says this has to happen. Can this cause (or intensify) earthquakes...???Wonder Warthog
