I have found some of this story to be troubling.

Jasmine Block, 15, is missing from her home on North McKay Avenue in Alexandria, Minnesota. She was last seen around 1 p.m. on Monday, August 7th, 2017 near the Cetral Lakes Trail with two other teens and a man in his 30s, riding bikes. Source

Am I the only person beginning to wonder if we've heard the full truth here?

When I saw the photo of her with her mom after her escape, it seemed rather eerie to me. She just looked too calm and relaxed. There's no reflection on her face of the dire situation she had just been in for 29 days.

Is it possible she went along willingly at first, and then was betrayed by the main figure?

Is it possible she made up the whole story so she could be reunited with her mom, without guilt?

Are these guys being framed for something they didn't actually do?

She may not have been assaulted by the other two. She may have only had relations with the person she wanted to, and then tired of the situation and concocted a story to protect her own actions. Some kids around this age turn very rebelious.  That can be enhanced if a love interest pops up.

I toss this out, because certain things didn't add up to me. I could be as wrong as can be too, and I encourage folks to keep that in mind.

1. seen with one of the perps (quite possible as mentioned above) in a non-stress situation just before disappearing

2. very little visual harm

3. left alone to escape

4. does not look like someone who had been violated for 29 days in that after photo with her mom

Ladies (men too), if these things happened as told by the girl, I hope you know I want the penalties to be very strong. It angers me to think of this girl being abused. Not knowing her, it's my inclination to feel empathy and anger toward the perps.

Not knowing the guys, it would seem someone should feel the same way toward them, if a big portion of this story was made up. We've seen stories like this one go South before, so I'm just tossing this out for consideration.

“She just looked too calm and relaxed. There’s no reflection on her face of the dire situation she had just been in for 29 days.”

Maybe some drugs to help her cope for a while...? Don’t know.
