Will regular Buffalo milk work? ;)
Our neighbor raises them for fun and profit. It takes 5 years to bring them to butchering weight. It’s kind of fun to look out my kitchen window and see them grazing on the hills in the distance. ;)
Getting raw milk is no problem; the guy that rents our crop land has a big dairy, and we care for his Heifers in our pasture from Spring through fall. ;)
The Italian guy who taught me how to make some of his deli items told me that the truest mozzie is made with water buff milk.
Don’t know about american buffalo. I sure would not want to milk one of those!
