Same exact water vapor increase occurred just before she first hit Cuba. She ramped back up to a 5 from a 4 and then dove down into Cuba. Cuba eventually weakened her to a 3. Now the same water vapor increase occurred. She will go cat 4 and make a jog in some direction.
Bigger thing I noticed... the eye is back over water, and the upper out-flows are still in good shape.. Very symmetrical.
I was hoping the upper level wind shear would start BEFORE it got back over water. Not gonna happen.
There is definitely a Northward component to the motion now. Key West looks like it’s gonna get a direct hit.
