Thank you. I love living near the coast (can’t afford it now of course) but would have to be elevated enough to avoid storm surge. All theoretical of course.
It’s actually very stupid that houses can be built right on the beach. How do they get insurance coverage, I wonder.
I guess you could say the same for people who build houses in Tornado Alley....or those who live near fault lines or volcano’s,.....Or for that matter in a large city where crime abounds daily....even getting into a car is dangerous and most of us to that everyday.
Just putting it in perspective a bit.
