Here’s what I know so far.Many Utilies Trucks are staging at Lake City Fl.National Ass.of Journeymen Linemen expect up to 3,000,000 People to be without power.They are asking everyone to be patient thru the next 2 months.Son-in-Law is there.I know many of his crew.They told him to expect to be away 40 days.

Yes, I am a ham and work with ARES, Amateur Radio Emergency Services. I finishing my preps and I'm off to back up a special needs shelter in Davenport after I eat and clean up. Our Emergency Coordinator just returned from TX and is very familiar with Zello. Great for channels locating gas or rescue groups organizing, but requires cell towers or internet via WiFi. They didn't loose those services in TX. Radios are completely different.
