I know lots of people that have not left. They really should have but didn’t, don’t know what to say.

Yes there will be massive surge in most of the Keys.
On the Storm2K forum a poster from Homestead (near the military base) said winds ramped up to 62 mph and trees started coming down — this thing is still on the Cuban coast and it is breaking off trees south of Miami.

The Army Combat Diver School at Fleming Key (sticks up north from Key West) is also part of the shut down.
But I’ll bet they have a few Dive Medical Technicians and Dive Supervisors on hand.
They have one of the few recompression chambers in the greater area.
And since most of the structures are less than 20 years old I’m sure they were built pretty stout.
