The city council in Charlottesville, Va., voted unanimously Tuesday to remove a statue of Confederate Gen. Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson from Justice Park.
The 5-0 vote came just weeks after last month’s violent protests in the city, sparked in part by city officials’ plans to remove a statue of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee.
Tuesday’s vote also will expedite the relocation of the Lee statue.

Wow. I’m not sure is put it that way, though Reno is surely full of crap. I’ve not heard anyone else formulate the winners/losers criteria. Rather, once you give in to the self-righteous preeners, they go on to something else... or... in this case, someone else like Washington, Jefferson, etc to be pissed about. Anyone who thinks otherwise is just hopeless in analyzing the left.
Likely will be removed at night, if the past is any indication.

ISIS made a similar claim with the destruction of the ancient monuments in Palmyra.
And if you think the left will stop after the Confederate statues are down, you’re smoking something rather powerful.
No because this at its core is an anti Southern and regional cleansing move. Their hatred of all things Southern is what drives this and these statues are a cover and excuse for their actions.
