This is about making a deal. I'm with Trump.

The Harvey money is funding for FEMA and loans for home owners.

The idea that it looks bad to attach it to the ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY ceiling bill says Ryan....Well....Ryan is an idiot.

Trump is assigning blame for legislative inaction to the republicans. They have told him loud and clear that they intend to undercut him by a slim margin whenever they can.

No....It's putting Ryan in his place and telling everyone to do their job.

I believe Munchin was the first to propose this.

It’s to refill the FEMA coffers and for loans for those who lost perhaps everything.

Here these spineless Repubs consort with Dems to make sure Trump gets none of what he wants for eight straight months. Bad mouthing POTUS, explaining they are the law making body and that he can’t govern without them.

Suddenly, their best buddies over in the Dem Party double cross them, stab them in the back making a deal with POTUS, and gleefully run out to the microphones and humiliate the Repubs to the whole country.

Come what may, I applaud Trump for showing Ryan, McConnell and McCain how really stupid they are.

I think it's loud and clear that the Pres wants the party to hang up Ryan.

McConnell is fine.

McCain is just a plain old AH.

I honestly don’t think Trump has the interest or - frankly the political experience - to do a deep dive into the Republican primary process. He’s been a politician for 18 months, and is not particularly ideological. And while he may get a few scalps, it will probably ultimately change little except give the Democrats seats they otherwise would not have won.

The end game of this CANNOT be Democrats in charge of the Senate and House, because that’s where I feel like we are heading.

And if Pelosi and Schumer feel like they can get Obama’s dream agenda through the vessel of Trump, they’ll build him two walls to do it. And then tear them down after he’s out of office.

The GOP once again once wanted to pander to the right by being spending hawks on storm relief and the debt ceiling. These are two guaranteed losing issues. So why defend? Because its a free pass to looking tough but in the end giving the voters what they want.

I think Trump just called BS on the whole process. He knows, the GOP knows, and the Dems know these two measures are going to pass. So he called the Dems counter bluff to the GOP’s bluff.

Short term debt ceiling raise make the CONgress have to Work! Reps wanted long term, probably past the elections!

This is an interesting situation. The President has worked with the GOP congress for eight months and pushed a SCOTUS nominee but little else (EOs and regulations don’t need congress).

Schumer has been noticeably quiet for the last couple months and Pelosi is just a useful idiot - but at the end of the day they have no power other than to decide when to go to the bathroom. Note, I detest both of them.

But if Trumo can cobble together a coalition that gets his agenda through by throwing a few bones to the parasite democrats, it might help get the GOP to refuse a few calls from donors and lobbyists and work with Trump to MAGA.

If not, Trump just threw in the cards.

***WARNING***

CNN = Counterfeit News Network

Don’t believe these Lying Leftist Media outlets that proved themselves during the 2016 campaign to be operatives of the DNC and intentional liars. They are presumed to be lying and we should presume what they publish is a lie. The presumption can only be rebutted with the outlet providing clear and convincing evidence they are not lying.

Can there be anything more absurd than the Congressional Republicans and their favorite but boy McCain?

lol No, and I was a McCain for President backer as probably the most of us were. I like who I voted for President this last time around. I didn't vote against someone, nor toted the party line while holding my nose. As they say at McDonald's, lovin it!

It IS their blame. They are corrupt and evil and need to be removed from office. Their main concerns are with accumulating their own personal wealth and power at the expense of the public, which is why Trump was elected.
As they are playing that dangerous game, they will pay in the primaries and general election.

The GOPe has been giving it to President Trump in the shorts since 1/21. Fighting everything Trump vowed to accomplish. No work on taxes, budget. Failure on Obamacare repeal. The President promised Texas emergency funds and he is keeping that promise. So the GOPe has to revisit the ceiling hike in 3 months instead of 6. BFD !!!

Republicans, Democrats, Trump, they all make me sick. The will just play their power games and forget the promised they made when the ran for office....Then again, why am I surprised? They always lie.

The republicans have been saying things will be different next time for many moons now. I have no faith in them. I can only imagine how frustrating it is for Trump. Coming in accustomed to owning his own business and being able to do something.

Trump did not forget his promises one bit. He keeps trying and they won’t pass the agenda.
