Sacramento approves $1.5 million to tackle gun violence

9/01/17 | by Jennifer Cruz

The city of Sacramento is tackling gang violence.

Critics claim the council just voted unanimously to pay folks not to commit crimes. So what's the deal? We spoke with the Director of the Mayor's Gang Prevention and Intervention Task Force back in March. We asked just how big a deal is gang violence here in Sacramento?

It's a part of an 18-month program where those involved get job-training and mentoring. If they complete six months successfully, they could also receive up to $1,000 per month for nine months.

A friend and I watched the representative from Calexit being grilled by Tucker. Neither of us could believe some of the words coming out of that idiots face and then his facial expressions when he claimed that California was exporting blue voters to Texas to turn Texas blue.

The kicker was my friend is black and nearly blew up when Calexit claimed that California was not really part of the US anymore.

Progressives are so stupid. These gang members would have paid them for this police protection.

Thanks for the link....what an idiot! He’s too stupid to realize that “we” who have already left or getting ready to leave CA are not moving to other states to spout the liberal line. We are getting out of CA and have gotten out of CA because we can’t stand the liberal mentality and taking the conservative views with us! What on earth does it take for these people to wake up and smell the coffee? I don’t trust anyone who smiles all the time they are pulling the wool over someone’s eyes - OR think they are.

Me too. Maybe grandma can supplement her income with the 1K per month.

No worries...

If they did that they’d be racist for claiming the gangs were minorities.....

That $1K is simply going to be turned into a Change Fund for Drug transactions so the ‘bangers don’t have to go to the bank for change.

Maybe if all Conservatives left kookafornia there wouldn’t be enough money to keep running the state and it would just fade away.

The City of Sacramento Taxpayers’ are about to be raped to the tune of $1.5 million because criminal gangs don’t give a damned about your money. But, they will take it, and use it to buy more guns and more ammo to reign havoc down on your sorry asses for capitulating to these dregs. Take that money and use it to crack down on their sorry asses and remove them from society once and for all. Don’t give it to them and expect them to adhere to some civil obedience to Sacramento. It’s not going to happen!
