I don't know about that. but I will say this:
miami evac was ordered, what, monday? at least 5 days out from landfall. now the government and media have everyone on the road driving north.
problem is, every projection since yesterday night projects a more and more easterly path. if this trend continues, the powers-that-be will be promoting evacuation while the projections show less and less need for it.
I understand the need for caution, but a loss of credibility is equally serious.
