The commentary contains a discussion of the writer’s suggestion to store 30 galloons of gas for the generator. One of the commenters states that the National fire code sets the limit for home storage of gasoline at 25 gallons. The implication seems to be that if your house burns down and investigators observe more than the 25 gallon limit in containers, your home insurance claim could experience difficulties.
