Gob bless you.
I hear that fights are breaking out over bottled water ..and most places are out
what do people think comes out of the tap? Acid?
I have family in Corpus.
They got through it OK. How did the area fare otherwise?

Cone of doom.... very apt. I should be inside it by tomorrow morning.
M. Eye Shape: Concentric (has an inner and outer eye)
M. Inner Eye Diameter: 20 nautical miles (23 statute miles)
M. Outer Eye Diameter: 45 nautical miles (52 statute miles)
I’ve tried local and national news, Twitter, the Hemingway House website, no info on whether or not there’s a plan to evac some or all of the 40-50 kitties at Hemingway House.
Well, “100% wrong their entire careers” is isn’t being very honest in assessing the situation.
For someone who takes their screen name seriously like you claim, perhaps a little more care in your words is in order.
Hubby is making a Sams run this evening for stuff that we can always use but would need more of just in case it manages to avoid FL and end up in the gulf somewhere. Just in case mind you.
My home was swept into the cone of doom this afternoon.
Better hope not.
It’s already a Category 5. It hits the gulf and we’ll have the perfect conditions for the King of all Hurricanes.

This is just off the charts Forecast for #StThomas #USVirginIslands and Anegada in the #BVI sustained 173 gusts 209 MPH #Irma Wednesday
A friend of mine speculates that they will round up as many cats as they can and put them in the Hemingway house and close the door. She says that house says not surrendered to any hurricane since it was built. Unbelievable.
Hard to find out. Houston is getting almost all the press. I did find this:
"Most of Rockport still has no electricity and water is rationed by cutting it off at 5 p.m. daily." http://www.tdtnews.com/news/article_156a2b56-91d4-11e7-a11b-a3c6f4113239.html
150 mph winds. May God have mercy on the Southeast.
Isn’t it interesting how that weather cone wobbles as it moves across the ocean......hopefully soye of the land masses will take some of the steam out of it....
looks like surface winds have increased to 190-195 now based on recon
Worst case scenario is it goes west into the gulf. If that were to happen, and it looks like there is a good chance of it, Irma has a high chance of being stronger than anything we’ve seen.
It needs to turn North.
