Yep and I believe that your assessment is correct. And if I was a betting man, I would bet money that he wanted that blood to plant DNA at the unsolved crime scenes on his caseload. Plus, in my opinion, he liked to abuse women. Perhaps to compensate for shortcomings in other places.
