He would be lucky to just lose his job. The DA is launching a criminal investigation, with the full support of the the Police Chief and the Mayor.
This former cop is going to jail.

I think you're right. I predict the following things are going to happen (starting rather quickly), now that all these videos have been made public, and are all over the place:
- That cop and his boss are going to be fired, before the end of September. (That Payne should never have become a cop. He has obvious issues with emotional self-control, violent overreactions, and generally inappropriate behavior.)
- That nurse is going to become a multi-millionaire, and a wealthy "former nurse".
- That (now) ex-cop is going to be arrested for assault & battery, and probably convicted. (He has severe issues with anger control and uncalled for violence, and may be a drug abuser, as some street drugs and some prescription drugs have been known to cause an instantaneous, unwarranted rage like that in some users. Listen again to this video - "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ihQ1-LQOkns", that "Enlightened1" provided in post 301, noticing especially the violent grunts that cop was making when he started manhandling her, indicating he was probably roughing her up while he was forcing her out of the building, then slapping the cuffs on her. He's a nutbag, and maybe they should have taken a blood sample from him, to see what he was on.)
- If he treated this woman like that, with all those cameras on him, and all those witnesses, he has probably physically mistreated prisoners in the past, so if he does go to prison, he might meet up with them again, but this time as an ex-cop with no police power over them.
I find it hard to believe that there are FReepers here who actually condone his vicious, criminal behavior against a respectful young woman, who was just doing her job correctly. There are good cops, and there are bad cops, and that guy is definitely a bad cop, and should get the boot immediately.
