This is a little funny. Back in 2015 we originally shared an easy peasy way to pay for the border wall by charging a 4% remittance fee on wire transfers to Mexico. With more than $25 billion (2015) in Western Union transfers, more than Mexicos entire oil and energy sector combined, a 4% U.S. surcharge on remittances creates $1 billion revenue annually.
The U.S. Treasury already has a similar process in place for Cuban Remittances and Western Union compliance affidavits. The remittances to Mexico have now jumped to $27 billion in 2016. Making the remittance fee even more feasible.

Make that surcharge 10 or 15% and we can get the wall paid for in 5 years.
Every time a smuggler is caught seize all the funds and property.
All proceeds from the sale of seized property plus all the cash recovered is to be spent directly on the construction of the wall.
Can’t say I put too much trust in what “Sundance” has to say, but if Trump does manage to pay for even some of the wall by remittances it will be #megawinning.
Works for me...
Far as I am concerned, when it comes to those smugglers, they can use the wall for the worlds largest memorial marker, unmarked of course.
I like Ted Cruz’s idea of using the drug lord money we’ve already seized to pay for it.
They are thinking like liberals - that human nature will not find alternatives.
