Oh please. Some Like it Hot was #1 on the AFI list for the century.
I like the movie, but don’t think it’s automatically top.
For really funny, I love “Court Jester” (especially once they reach the castle) and “Singin’ in the Rain” - a genius movie in all respect sans maybe “drama”.

For really funny, I love Court Jester (especially once they reach the castle) and Singin in the Rain - a genius movie in all respect sans maybe drama. "Some Like it Hot" was just stupid, not funny. "Court Jester" was around #98 on the AFI list, and that was also ridiculous. "Court Jester" should have been in the top 20, and perhaps even the top 10.

I don't think enough people have seen it. It's a near miracle some of those really old movies survived the ravages of time make the list. Great comedy is timeless.
