Hi Kathy, the distant forest fires with a prevailing, incoming wind are choking our city with heavy smoke everywhere, very unpleasant to be outside right now. Hope it blows away soon.

Multiple fires are not good.
Alaska has a few crews in the Pacific Northwest helping fight them.

Sounds a bit unpleasant up there these days, what with the heat AND smoke in the air. I guess there wasn’t any playtime outside with the lil wild man today.
