Sounds like a brief respite and a window of opportunity to get people and animals to a better, safer place before the rivers crest. When that happens, it’s going to start all over again but worse because of contamination and dead animals, the stench will be sickening. Three days. Highest ground accessible if they can’t get completely out, hopefully multistory structure that is not in a known floodplain.
Well... the rivers aren’t going up much- inches is what I’ve seen about the Brazos.
Be more accurate if I’d said their levels won’t be falling until Fri/Sat.
It really looks like it’s ‘over’ as far as new problems arising. They sure have enough.
Feel I ought to say I see they’re now saying the Brazos crest at Richmond will be 4 or 5 FEET higher and will be Thursday night.
Guess it has to do with where the final rain band was.
