Many creek and bayou levels falling. That’s a variable thing depending on location. Rivers won’t crest until Fri/Sat in the area.
Sounds like a brief respite and a window of opportunity to get people and animals to a better, safer place before the rivers crest. When that happens, it’s going to start all over again but worse because of contamination and dead animals, the stench will be sickening. Three days. Highest ground accessible if they can’t get completely out, hopefully multistory structure that is not in a known floodplain.
